Paired very nicely with chicken marsala from Carrabbas and tomato bruschetta. The wine and spice in the dish played easily with each other and created a new, flavorful expression of merlot. — a year ago

Dark red fruit, peppery, woody. Medium tannin. Pairs well with hard cheeses, imo. Spicy meats competed with and overwhelmed the wine. I love Tempranillo and this is a good one. Received as a gift of three tempranillos - 2016, 2017, and 2018 - from the same label. Haven't tried others yet. — a year ago
Bright acidity with flavors of pear and pineapple. Slightly sweet, mostly dry, wonderful for after dinner. Did not eat with a meal. — a year ago
Tobacco and plum on the nose. Strong tannin, but not much flavor. I really like temperanillo but this is quite bland. Maybe it would be better with food, but as a sipping wine it does not have much to recommend it. The 2018 vintage is much better. — a year ago
