Spectacular idiosyncratic wine. It's a blend of predominantly "white" Rondinella unique to Zyme. ( a mutation of the red version) plus Kerner and two other varietals .
Fascinating aromas of flowers, white peaches and crushed rocks. As it sat it took on additional layers of flavor and got richer.

Killer juice. Raspberry aromas with hints of spice and pepper on the back end. Really opens up in a decanter. A steal for the price (13.99) — 9 years ago
Good wine for the price but I think Jeb Dennuck was overly generous with his 90 rating in the WA. It was a little simple both in its flavors and aromatics. Still not bad for 12.99 — 9 years ago
Disappointing in comparison to other Etna Rossos I've had. It had ferocious Barbera like acidity and lacked fruit. I wonder if it was an off bottle. — 9 years ago
Killer juice. In addition to its benchmark acidity and minerality it had a bit of a leesy almost fat and creamy undertone that made it even more appealing. — 10 years ago

Raspberry and pastille aromas soft to medium tannins with a hint of pepper on the finish. Killer juice. — 9 years ago
