2004 vintage. Beautiful deep crimson in colour with a halo of gold. The nose reveals tree fruits, leather, and feint hints of spice. Palette of tree fruits, dust and leather. Acidity overpowers ever so slightly. Good length. Medium bodied, did not hold up well to lamb. — 10 years ago

Smoky dark forest fruit and liquorice delivered on a bed of spiced soil and garnished with salted Kalamata olives. Very tight tannins with a high acid smack to finish. Full bodied. Very nice. Great with game or goats cheese. — 12 years ago
