You could be forgiven to think this was a Bordeaux blend style wine and not the familiar style Cabernet Sauvignon one would associate with South Africa. It has at least 10 years more in aging. Soft and gentle tones with light tobacco flavours, smooth and silky, the red fruit still has a hint of green and the wood Is not prominent yet. Surprisingly easy drinking and can be enjoyed with or without food — 4 years ago

As it is a distinct dessert wine, lives next door to Yquem but less than half the price, great with Roquefort and other tart cheeses, also enjoy it with desserts that hold a hint of citrus this can help quell the sweetness — 7 years ago

Great wine, smooth and elegant but still has a little tinge of tannins and youth, to really enjoy the depth of this wine another 5 years on the rack and then will be wonderful. It will be worth the wait. — 7 years ago

Only to be eaten with chocolate dishes over 60% cocoa as you need that bitterness to gut through the rich aged raisins and deep subtle flavours in this sherry, it is an acquired taste — 7 years ago

Entry level GSM the nose and taste go hand in hand but the taste lingers on and is a lot lighter than the looks it gives, perfect with confit, lighter risottos, perfect and easy — 7 years ago

A lovely rose, little more intense in colour than most rose but a light and fragrant platte with beautiful sophisticated structure. Also it is soft and eloquent to drink. — 7 years ago

100% Grenache, a lot bolder than most rose wine. Longer press in the grapes to get the darker colour, has more body to it with hints of berries ripe water melon, but does not have the sweet flavours associated with the fruits. Great with risotto, duck confit and beetroot salad — 7 years ago

Easy Chardonnay light oak flavours come from aging technique which reduces oak intensity, lovely citrus on the palette just enough to balance the flavours great with Brie — 7 years ago
