After letting it sit for a bit, the complex flavors really stood out but worked together beautifully. Nothing too domineering, definitely an excellent Rioja. Would strongly encourage this over the 2014 Tempranillo. The few extra dollars spent are well worth it. Also an incredible price for a wine like this. — 8 years ago

This wine made my top 5 list for sure. I'm a fan of dry, medium-full bodied reds, usually Spanish wines. I'm beginning to dabble in red blends and this reminded me of the complex but smooth reds I'm drawn to. Went to the store the next day to buy another! — 8 years ago
