Been saving this one for a good occasion. The first aroma is of fresh chopped fire wood, pencil shavings, and brick. The first taste was quite different. The texture is light fluffy and delicate. The first taste is tart and berry like with a leathery finish. Only complaint is that is lacks a bit of complexity. — 9 years ago

When I first opened it kinda turned me off, I was not impressed. I corked the bottle and let it sit for 24 hours. After that is was a good bit better. If you have a bottle, allow a lot of decanting time, otherwise I wouldn't waste the money. — 9 years ago

The nose has notes of lavender and a faint reminder of beach sand. The first sip started a bit spicy with cinnamon and nutmeg. The tannins are high and chalky at first but fade quickly. The finish is a nice combination of wood, toast and blackberry. I think this wine would benefit from another few years of aging. — 9 years ago
