Violet/tinted deep red, medium viscosity with stained tears, med-high alcohol and tannins, black current, raspberries, chocolate, vanilla, leather - almost “meaty” terra-cotta-esque. Probably a high percentage of new oak used in the barrels. Needs some time in the bottle. Ate with flank steak and ratatouille. — 7 years ago

Earthy, slightly metallic, low acid, mild tannins, slightly underripe. Not a huge fan, my husband seemed to really enjoy it. — 7 years ago
