Ripassa Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Corvina Blend

Mildly astringent, but good with pizza, Valpolicella at Wanby Landing, Kennebunk, ME

Blackberry and a hint of leather. Very smooth, tastes significantly sweeter than the residual sugar levels would suggest.

Too light

Good, but not so much my style.

Smell tingles the nose. Very dry. Whirlwind of flavours. Dark cherry and wood. Harsh. Delicious

Beautifully full-bodied. An "Amarone in the making" as it has the same characteristics. Paired well with rosemary roasted chicken and portobello mushroom polenta (with a little roasted broccoli on the side!).

Really enjoyed! Would buy again

Dried fruit, gentle tannins, smooth finish.
