Really excited about the Schuster wines! Killer example of minimalist, modern Blaufränkisch. Beautiful ripeness and earthy varietal character, singing acidity and low alcohol. Moric on a budget?

Much heavier with tannins than I expected. High altitude wine with very subtle fruit flavor. Paired with a delicious pork neck, pickled mushrooms, shaved raw mushroom with a robust earthy mushroom sauce

Oak blocks fruit. Blau should be transparent fruity gem, not warm vanilla

Bright cranberry notes here with a very clean finish. The tartiness will keep you coming back!

Deep and rich both in terms of taste and aromas. Dried cherries, black berries, blue berries, spices and a hint of violet. A real fruit bomb. This is an outstanding wine considering the price and a good showcase of this rather unknown grape that deserves much more recognition.
