This is the last bottle from a case we bought in 2011. It's over it's peak, showing lots of VA and beginnings of oxidation, although the underlying fruit and acid are still quite intact.

Extremely light color for a Tempranillo, high-toned and fresh. Sandalwood and red cherries. Hippy wine sans-sulfur and all that.

Extremely natural winemaking here: no sulfur, indigenous yeast and high elevation vineyards. All make for a Tempranillo that tastes more similar to a Texier CdR or Occhipinti Frappato. Very light color, mousy nose, definitely some barnyard, but with (almost) candied cherry fruit. Crazy wine.
