Rich and lush with gorgeous black fruits (blackberries, black currants) blueberry pie, leather, dark chocolate, sage, toast and oak influences. This wine is full throttle, but the ripe tannins are balanced by the acidity. Not an ounce of green notes on this wine (my usual tell for chile) This wine could give Napa cabernet a run for its money....

Bar none best Chilean wine I've tried. No pyrazinic dominance; instead we've got lush dark fruit, chocolate, tobacco, leather, potting soil, manure, tree leaves, cedar, etc. and the structure of a fine Bordeaux.

This wine was such a pleasant surprise - we won it at a holiday party raffle, so we had no idea what to expect. We were all blown away by layers of deep, rich blue fruits combined with chocolate, leather, a touch of graphite and a hint of oak. Despite the rich fruits, it managed to deliver bright acidity and complexity that paired well with a rib eye. I'll definitely seek out more of this wine.
