Striking red, leaning purple once poured that reveals a boysenberry aroma with a touch of cherry. The sweeter than usual flavor is a nice surprise with minimal tannins and slight acidity greets the palate. While they advertise a James Suckling rating of 91, that’s a stretch for me. It is however a delightful taste experience worthy of consideration at your next substantial dinner.

May 5th, 2019Light ruby and bloody in color. Nose of spice, tobacco leaves, some cocoa, medicinal note, berries, and some strength of alcohol. Taste of quite good tannins, subtle acidity, fresh berries, light yet pretty juicy. Quite light and enjoyable in a humid night.
