One of the better CA Cabs I have had. Not a fan of CA Cab this wine has hung in amazingly well. Nice example of the variety in CA but could use a bit more structure.

Beautifully aged, direct from the winery. Still fresh and vibrant, decades of potential maturing ahead. Aromas of ripe plum, red currant, raspberry and cherries. Even crunchy cranberry. Dried roses and savory herbs, leather and earth. Verite is one of my absolute favorite domestic Cabernet producers!

Velvety, smooth mouth feel. Stewed fruit on the nose. Garnet color with a rosy rim variation. Just a gorgeous, balanced wine. It just doesn't get much better than this. Enjoyed with husband and friends at Norman's at the Ritz-Grande Lakes, Orlando.

This just reminds me why Verite is one of my favorite Napa producers! Relentless of fruit and chocolate notes, backed by hints of mushroom earthy and smoky smell. So smooth on the palate.

Part deux of don’t wait to drink your wine. I reviewed the 01 and this is the 03. Both gone-zo. Pours with with deep purple and my hopes were high but all the fruit is gone. I bought these from the winery and stores them in my locker. Oh well

Delightful, soft and seductive. This vintage is worth accumulating. 2003.

Drinking beautifully. Silky smooth with dark cherries and mouth filling minerality. Long sensual finish is the best part. This is at its peak right now and it's drinking like the finest right bank Bordeaux blends

The 2003 is there but has years more that it can go. Hard to imagine it getting any better.
