Third of the four reds for the blind tasting of Non-American Shiraz/Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting.

Medium to deep ruby red. Layered nose but a tad light with notes of mint, eucalyptus, menthol, spices, earthy notes and tight red cherries. Medium tannins (5/10) and medium bodied. A touch of age/climate showing through on the backend of the palate with tobacco leaves. A touch of sweet spices as well, vanilla, black berries, red fruits, crushed rocks and a little herbal. Medium plus finish. Solid value for under $20.00. Drink till 2019.

The ripe black and blueberries. The oak and the cherries. Delectable. But of course. Love the Margaret River.

What a cool representation of Cab. VERY vegetal and varietally correct. Fun to drink and experience.

Why hello there. Quite woody and green peppery up front but as it opened in the decanter we got some more savoury herbacious notes, flowing into dried figs and cocoa. A great wine, with great value for money!
