I met Michael Twelftree of @twohandswines about a year ago at a American Football tailgate of all places, told him I've enjoyed his wines. This one is new to me, a late harvest #Sémillon from #BarossaValley . Very good dessert wine, green apple flavors and not overly sweet.

Golden raisins, petrol, molasses and baking spices abound on a candied sugar nose. The palate is certainly dominated by that same golden raisin flavor, with hints of canned peach syrup showing the residual sugar. Tends to fall on the shorter side of the finish, but has just enough acid to still feel in balance.
