Heavy plums and blackberries on the nose, meaty as well, and coarse brown earth. The flavor follows the nose. Big luscious but held back by some hot alcohol.

Big, juicy, peppered meat, and lots of new oak it seems. Would like the oak to be dialed back a bit.

Tannins under control. Slight acidity. Cherry, peppery notes. Really blooms with savory food.

#Torbreck 2012 #Shiraz #WoodcuttersShiraz #BarossaValley Stewed & dried dark fruits, rose petal, black cherries, blackberry, black plums, cranberries, cola, cooked meats, terragon, black olive & black pepper. Medium plus yet supple tannins, medium plus body, complexity & finish. Delish and still young! Now I want a juicy burger! #somm #sommlife #wineporn

Aromas of chèvre and smoky timber transform into white pepper and black fruit on the palate. Not a wine to take lightly or drink with unrefined cuisine.

It has an aroma of goat cheese that adds to the earthy tone. If you like an earthy wine...this is for you.
