$17 Big nose. Notes of pear, green apple, lemon zest, honeysuckle and slate on the nose. Light body. Low tannins, high acid, medium plus alcohol. Off-dry. Very zesty. Strong notes of lemon and lime on the tongue... like a cool glass of lemonade. Refreshing. The zest overwhelms any other flavor. Subtle notes of ripe green apple. In general, this is a VERY tangy New Zealand SB that would be comparable to a Mike's Hard Lemonade. There's a place for it, but it's not for the tame tongue.
