This is a new wine to me. This 2006 is fantastic. Initially lots of vanilla then dark earthy fruit. Long finish . Still lots of tannins. I guess it will age but why it’s an extraordinary wine. Bought at Sun Valley wine shop. A real find.

It took a while to fully open but well worth the wait. Wow. Tastes Surprisingly lighter than it smells. A lot of dark fruit and vanilla on the nose. Strong oak. Red fruit flavor, a light spiciness on the palette.
