RebelRebel. Honeyed nose. Lively acidity. Minerality.

100% Sauvignon Blanc from approximately 60-year-old vines grown on Turonian limestone (same terroir as La Perlée). The wine is labelled as a Vin de France as the Saumur appellation does not accept this grape variety. Fermented in concrete tanks, then aged in barrels and demi muids for 12 months in this vintage, 6 months shorter than usual.
“A rich, expansive expression of Sauvignon Blanc. With oxygen – more time in bottle or in a decanter is essential - it opens up to a wonderful honeyed nose, with a gourmet nose of ripe, tropical fruit and roasted apple. On the palate, the same luscious fruit profile is accompanied by a smooth, mouth-coating texture. This is impeccably balanced by minerality and lively acidity. Not your typical Sauvignon Blanc, but delicious nonetheless.” AC
