Dark purple with rim variation moving toward fuchsia/white. High viscosity, medium+ alcohol, high staining- your mouth and teeth will be black. Nose sees nail polish remover, subtle ripe red fruit, oak. Palette is firey with the high alcohol, medium+ round tannins, dark, stewed cherries, strawberries. Medium finish with a good deal of body but moderate complexity. Lots of age left in this one- let it sit for a few more years. If you do open now, be sure to wait a few hours before drinking as it evens out over time, even better the second day.
