Second go around with this one. Kids must have kept me from rating it the first time. Pretty solid Cab with a good smokiness to the taste. Kind of fun to say, too. Cabernario. Cabernario.

Deep garnet. Intense fruit aromas of black cherry, blackberries, currant, plum with herbaceousness, cassis, licorice, black pepper. Secondary aroma of cedar. Not much tertiary yet in this young cab.
High tannin, high alcohol, medium acidity.
Mint and cooked fruit come through on the palate. It's a good example of cabernet, but it's a little young (drinking 2017 in 2021). I would love this to age at least five more years.
