Hibiki 17 Years Old Blended Whisky

Toffee, toast almond, mocha, hint of orange peel on the nose. Very oily mouthfeel, quite bitter, preserved fruit, herb and sweet toasted almond on the palate. Long and soothing finish.

So easy to sip, live how Japanese whiskey remind my amateur spirits palate of a cross between Single Malt Scotch and a fine Bourbon from Kentucky.

Quite delicious but not necessarily good value. Wish this was cheaper stateside.
