Was slightly corked

Think of Barberesco Villages. Produced in a very agreeable style yet this is quite young at the moment.

2012 vintage. Pretty tasty.

a great value for such beauty

Wimpy color, a bit pinotish but with grippy tannins. Nice balance of fruit and acidity,oak not obvious. All in all a very nice baby Barolo.

Sottimano's 2012 Langhe Nebbiolo is a beauty. Freshly cut flowers, sweet red berries, cinnamon and mint are woven together in this refined, textured Nebbiolo bursting with pure class. Cherries, raspberries and rose petals linger on the expressive finish. (AG)
