Estate Bottled Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon

Still a bit tannic. But this bottle has a lot of potential for a 2011. I'd probably sit on it for a couple more years. Would love to see what it tastes like in 2018.

Making the most of a crap vintage. Lacking some of the intensity I expect from these guys, but still plenty of cocoa and plum goodness in there.

Love this wine! Dark Ruby color with exuberant cassis, tobacco, cedar, plum, spiced black cherry, and a bit of eucalyptus aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied and well-structured with ample cassis, black cherry, tobacco, and a bit of mineral flavors. Medium-Long finish

Excellent mountain Cab with wonderful savory character. Drank over the course of three days.

Delicious!!! Had it with a grass-fed ribeye and it's structure stood up to the steak and drinking great after the steak is gone as well.

Our other Christmas Wellington wine. Powerful cassis & dark plums with old school pepper & mint notes. Smells like Bordeaux, drinks like Napa. Delicious.

Super impressed by this wine we had at Blue Hill last night. Grand cru classé level. Loved the dark fruits and oak finish. A very versatile red wine too.
