Sun-ripened blueberries and sweet plums. Attractive vanilla and chocolate fluctuating between sweet tobacco and licorice. Fruit forward and a turn towards extracted. Finish holds firm with slightly rigid tannins. Crowd pleaser for sure, but it's on the hot side. No surprises from the varietal or region. Here comes the snow...
