Color of dark purple with a hint of burgundy color. Nose of nice cherry and grassy note. Taste is full structure with nice cherry note, hickory, peppery, and sweet. Aftertaste is adding some zest note. Very enjoyable.

This was a fun, shiraz to drink. Mild eucalyptus, red/black fruits everywhere, mod amount of oak with vanilla and dill. Acid just right...good booze in the end. Just a great drinker for anyone anytime. I need more, great wine for the price..

This is the first wine I've enjoyed with a DripStop, courtesy of @Ron R! Previously, I had been using the VacuVin and had doubts of something superior. I was pleasant surprised with the DripStop, even if @Ron R was telling me I was using it incorrectly and needed to push it in further. And then reminding me a second time to push it in! 😮

So, on with the wine.

A very pleasant cuvée, especially for the price. Intriguing notes of chicken teriyaki on the nose combined with slightly old mint. The palate shows underripe blackberry. The tannins are quite firm. For $15, well done.

2013v. Starts off like a new world dark fruit bomb but finishes with the old world tones that remind me of an earthy Brunello. Blackberry, dark cherry, and blueberry nose, a lot of subtle notes on the palette: clay/earth, licorice, cocoa powder, and a oaky leather big finish. Tannins are matured but still grippy. Bonus points for QPR. 14.7% ABV.
