A. Incredible varietal! Many layers...buttery and oaky, smooth like glass....medium bodies...berries, cream, pepper...similar to a good Zinfandel...best Italian wine I've ever had!

Needed some time to open up and then drank wonderfully. Dried figs, cherries and earth.

Started to open up after about an hour in the decanter. High alcohol is to be expected with Amarone but I felt it was nicely integrated in this wine

Now that's amarone I can get behind. Less obvious raisinstion, nice complexity and great structure.

Weekend wine. Good balance and easy drinking to me. Ripe red fruits, medium bodied.

Really nice Amarone, high alcohol at 15% that can definitely picked up on the nose. A lot of cherry and red fruit present here and very nice rounded tannins. Went well with the pappardelle bolognese.
