I liked this with its mostly classic Sangiovese flavors--plums, herbs, and dusty brushy earth--but it was a little thin in places, even if it showed hints of rich figs and developed notes of green tea as it opened up. Either the bottle or at 6 years, it's hot and awkward stride.

The Rodney Dangerfield of Tuscany...smooth, light, and a nice expression of Sangiovese.
