This wine goes as far as Valpolicella can go without being Amarone (that’s a flavor AND cost assessment). Beautifully priced and made, the seriousness and quality is there to pair with great hearty fare. Still plenty of finesse, with some delicacy on the nose, and a palate that never takes over.
