From La Morra- Clean, light garnet, medium intensity aromas of red fruit-bramble, saw dust, dates, dried cranberry, black olives. After 5-mins cherry, underbrush, licorice, dried roses and a hint of tar showed up. More on the nose than palate. Firm, structured, drying tannins are substantial. Medium acid and body. 100%Nebbiolo. Food wine!

The "hot cup of tea" of Nebbiolo- soothing, perfect with any hearty tomato-based pasta (too light for steak, imo though) Great intro to Italian reds for the novice as not so big as to perplex.
