Great to try a well-aged Ridge. Interesting nose of dark fruit and forest floor. The tannins are well resolved but the fruit are much too subdued. Have to say this one is a bit past its prime.

Savory herbs, delicate fruit, old world texture. Very stunning. Show age well, but would guess late 90's not 04. I am a lucky man right now.
