La Ferme Julienne is Trader Joe's French version of $2 chuck. Until recently it seems (2014) it came with the AOC provenience (Ventoux) but that seems to have fallen off the label... Not the best sign, but for a $5.99 wine it is still a pretty good table drop of plonk. Quite tart. Also, screw top so you pretend you aren't going to drink it all tonight.

So this rating is attached to a rating for a Rose Blend. We did not have that wine. Ours was a red, and I believe it was a blend because there was no other description of what kind it was.
We got this at Trader Joe’s and it was a French wine. It was very smooth and drinkable and balanced, yet dry. Tannins were not overpowering.

Acceptable for the price, but not the best of the cheap roses.

A bit ripe-r. Tart smelling. Some apples. Flavor is soft and easy drinking. Little bit of backbone.

TJ's $5. Some rough edges. Portes de Bordeaux Rose is much better for about the same $.

This is okay. First glasses were fine once they got some air. Didn't love it the second time I opened the bottle.
