Textbook Oakville. This is great, even in a tough vintage. The nose is all blueberry pie with some road tar. The palate explodes with blackberry cobbler, black currant, and blueberry. Really great acidity carries the finish, which brings tobacco, Asian spices, and (true to the 11's) some green pepper. Lighter than other vintages I've had.

Great drink-ability for a young vintage (2011). Very smooth. Not the biggest or boldest Cali cab, but enjoyable.
