Grange Hermitage Bin 95 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

Very few wines in this world we live in resist time in such a beautiful way. After 50 years, this beauty shows class, freshness and a cue of the power that once it had. Still very aromatic, showing tertiary aromas of humus, dried tobacco, meatness, decayed leaf, and coffee. There is a sense of Tawny Port adding to all that. The palate is ethereal, not heavy by any means, fresh with feminine - yet firm still - structure. Sweetness and savouriness blend in a surprisingly long finish.
