Interesting wine here. Looser than the Griffins Layer Syrah, this one spends more time in the midpalate with ripe fig and baked strawberry. Lots of spice filling out the edges. It reminds me of CDP or some older Saint joesphs I have had.

Wonderfully rich yet precisely balanced, with suave tannins and mouthwatering acidity, enabling its dark and brooding fruit profile to linger effortlessly on the mineral-infused finish. At peak but no rush whatsoever.
