Opaque and dark color. Nose has blood orange and berries in there. Black currents and black cherry. Hint of incense. Flavors are robust and full. Matches a hearty turkey soup, toasted bread, and salty cheeses to a T.

Agreeable, everyday Tempranillo for next to nothing. No flaws, not overly oaky. Balanced between fruit and drying tannins. Had it with spicy baked chicken, roasted cauliflower, and garlic green beans. Would be a solid bbq/pizza wine. Cheap and cheerful. $6 at Trader Joe’s.

This is a very nice wine but it must breathe! The first sip was rather off-putting but after 15 -20 minutes it opened up to a very nice complex bouquet with black current undertones.
