Bought in 1985 at combo tasting room (shared w Smothers & others) in Glen Ellen area, I remember it was a tannic monster then. Lost in cellar, tasted 2014. Fantastic!! All that a great Cal cab (tasted like Alexander Valley) should be - cedar dust, perfect balance between structure and, yes, Fruit! Not all pruny either, some fresh also. Wish wish wish I had more. Wonder what happened to the vineyard?
