2009 vintage seems to shift between intense berry/cassis and mineral plumb nose, vanilla and violets play a pleasant medley. Smooth fruit and rounded tannins give a wonderful tactile sensation in the mouth with a lingering aftertaste, warm with alcohol but still flavored with fruit and a slight astringent tannin to say I can go longer. Lovely wine.
