Always solid! Still reserved on the nose and palate after 10yrs. Medium plus depth. Dark fruit with hints of vanilla and oak. Surprised it faded fairly rapidly.

I stopped buying this wine with this vintage. I realize now that was a huge mistake. The prices commanded by some CFs these days is ridiculous. And this wine has the pedigree and juice that really makes me kick myself for not keeping up with releases. Nose of flowers and black cherry. Entry of sweet black cherry, cola, herbs, mint on the front to middle. Spice and oak on the finish. So enjoyable.
