By previous reviews this must have been a tough vintage. Plenty of extraction for something I expected to have more in its stuffing. Depth and body showed unresolved and aggressive tannins and tartness, while showing off green fruit.

Green jalapeños on the nose. Very different on the palate, black fruit and cocoa, soft tannins and medium acidity. On the finish there is a touch of bell pepper and volcanic minerality.
