100% Cabernet sourced from the Anna Marie and Loess vineyards. On the nose; really nice red & dark florals, baking spices, spice, core of black currants, ruby blackberries, black cherries, black plum, black licorice, tarry notes and dark florals. The body & tannins are M+ with a nice velvety mouthfeel. Blackberries, black plum, dark cherries, black raspberries with cherries painting the background. Lifting spices that rise with heated intensity, pepper, violets, crushed dry rocks, soft leather and hints of tobacco. Acidity is nicely well rounded. The long, rich, polished, finish has nice structure, length, tension & balance.

This is one of my favorite full bodied washington Cabernets. Smoky with hints of vanilla on the nostrils. Notes of blackberry, plum, leather and earth on the palate. Long finish with developed tannins and mild dryness.

Not the typical big cab I was expecting from Washington. Fresh red fruits and slightly ripe dark fruits with eucalyptus, baking spices, autumn leaves, and vanilla. On the palate it felt a bit tight and disjoint.
Slightly disappointed.

Blackberry and currant on first sip then pow...leather, tobacco and nice smooth silk finish. Decanted for an hour and cork had great sediment development, this one can go for a few more years, hoping the shop has more tomorrow!
