Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon

Very good Cab, balanced, dense, classic, cassis driven, 13.5% alc

Lots of flesh and generous aromatics. Black cherry fruit preserve and plenty of sweet tobacco and savory herbal notes. Well integrated tannins and salubrious acidity.

Old worldy, maybe corked at first, funky for sure but opened up into complex and flavorful wine. Herbaceous and eucalyptus character, black fruit, not super full bodied or tannic but rich and fulfilling

Preserved black fruits, slight hint of bell pepper (red, ripe), herbal (eucalyptus), licorice, cedar and charred wood, bitter chocolate, tobacco and earth. This is sweet, rich, and velvety, with medium+ acid and big, long tannins.

Very good. Aged well. Not as soft and buttery anymore. Almost no tannins.

Have had the 2010 at Momofuku Ssam before...smoky and peppercorn on the nose with hints of tar and roasted nuts on the palette.

Bordeaux style upfront but after an hour builds to a velvety fruit laden California cab

Moderate body. Smooth finish. Great legs.
