Fantastic marsanne - typical golden color, complex palate of candied orange, honey and petrol with a long finish. Excellent wine for a Saturday quarantine picnic.

2010 vintage. At Hinds Head pub in Bray. Rare and rewarding wine. Pale golden hue. Heady, honeyed and floral, with definite white stone fruit aromas, and a strip of chalky minerality. Fairly complex. On the palate, high alcohol - maybe slightly too much - silky textured full bodied and medium acidity. Full concentration of flavour. Medium plus finish. Really enjoyable albeit not something I would want to drink on a daily basis. Drink now until 2026+. Tip: serve on the cooler side to counter balance the richness and full body of the wine.
