The Malleea Cabernet-Shiraz Blend

I remembered this to be a lot more Cabernet influenced and apparent. Other than its instant smack of Blackcurrant I'm not getting any of the classic eucalypt or menthol aromas that I remembered. In saying that, the fruitful and primary bouquet is still so luscious showing ripe plum, fresh blackberry and vanilla tobacco aromas. The palate is almost syrup-like and shows ripe plum character and some savoury plum too. The finish is long as hell on this, really loving it

Not my favourite blend but this was done brilliantly, one of the picks of the coonawarra
