Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon

Part of tasting i organized. This cab made by Celia Welch was outstanding. Ripe dark fruit but in balance and a great deal of complexity.

Nose of plum, black fruit. Very closed right after open, much better after 3 hours decant. Full body with intense dark fruit, gravel and dusty flavors.

Full bodied cab - beautiful palate with prevalent fruit - drinking well now and will continue to drink well for another decade
