Coming from the land down under, this Australian Shiraz is the very definition of full-bodied red wine. It has dark fruit flavors of blackberry and blueberry along with pepper, licorice, and smoke. It also has a very strong herbaceous flavor with a noticeable essence of clove. Definitely pairs well with blue cheese burger or peppery barbecue. For a fun snack option some fries cooked in duck fat would be phenomenal.
