A great wine, superb by any standards, shockingly so for a Canadian wine. Small volume producer that sells almost all it's production in British Columbia. A blend with Merlot predominating. Caramel and fruit on the nose, complex on the palate with a long finish. Very elegant and balanced. Mild oak similar to a Washington state style. Gorgeous.

Finally opened the 2008... In 2016!
Still get the fruit but it is probably muted from what it once was. Still complex and smooth. Note to self: buy more than one bottle when storing long term.
