Pfaff Tradition Alsace Gewürztraminer

Nice pale yellow color with fresh acidity and lot of tropical fruit flavors such as litchi, matured pineapple and passion fruit. Very long lasting taste. I recommend it with grilled fish and poultry.

Golden yellow color. Expressive powerful aromas of ripe exotic tropical fruits, raisins & slightly spicy. Good body with volume & fat supports the nose. Excellent freshness. Off-dry. Alc. 13,5% and well balanced. 4 mo on lees & 5 mo ageing in vats before bottling. Gewurztraminer is some of the most distinctively aromatic wines in the world. Alsace is its spiritual home. Pfaffenheim is a huge cellar created by cooperative winery of so called village. Now operating 270 ha of vineyards. Wine is a great buy!

Decent value for an everyday wine; off-dry sweetness, as well as typical gewürztraminer aromas and flavours, made for a good pairing with curry.

2012 vintage. Great with Indian food.
