2015- can taste the morello cherries- adds a nice tart finish to the wine. Quite enjoyable

Dark cherry cola flavors, good acidity. Not as big as you'd expect from a Riserva. Good value

Color is light purple, ruby, bloody grapefruit, and a bit grey, very clean. Nose of spice, dried strawberries, a bit peppery, quite light, some wet mushrooms, actually remind me of Pinot noir. Taste follows the nose, with addition of zesty note, low tannings, and also quite light. Nothing to complain with the price, just lighter than I thought, but everything is on par.

Blackberry and blueberry fruit, with some citrus acidity trying very hard to be sour cherries. Some cola and a little wood flavor. But not a lot of complexity and nothing jumped out and said “Chianti”. This was a pleasant enough wine with food. But it drank like an international red blend from anywhere.
