Simple, a bit lifeless. It's having a really hard time cutting through a sardine salad which admittedly has a bit too much jalapeño bite. I'm getting some salinity towards the end but this could use a bit more acidity to balance out the round fruit up front.

Nice clear gold. The nose is everything I like in white wines: invigorating salty mineral spilling out of the glass, with a touch of starfruit behind it. Austere on the palate, and that tiny touch of salt gives a round mouthfeel that folds into billowing crystalline creamy mineral, with honeydew sweetness. Hard to adequately describe, but it's an exquisite flavor something like Asian pear, wet limestone, tropical white blossoms, and honey, and it floats above an utterly clean and dry finish with no lingering acid. This would be a 9, but the finish leaves a tawny bitterness that puts a bit of a damper on the enjoyment of a glass. I think this white would win the respect of red wine lovers, and for $11.50 I'd drink it every day. If only I can remember where I bought it..... #thanksTurkey!
